Yeah, with all the new administrative dealibobbers in place, we haven't had to do much in the way of banning lately and probably quite some time in banning IP's. But you're right...if your wifi'ing, you probably picked up an old banned IP. You're fine otherwise.

I use cingular/ATT aircard and get it all the time. you win some u lose some. I have emailed about it and was told they are looking into it about 4mo ago but still happens.

There are several hundred IP's in the banned list, left over from a time when banning spammers was a full-time job. If you run into a ban, get the IP address to me and I can unban it. Thanks.

For those who don't know how to get your IP address do the following.

Click on the start menu then run
Type in CMD as the program to run
A DOS window will come up
Type ipconfig and that will display your IP address

He means, write down the IP you're assigned that's being banned- and then when you re-locate to a different truckstop(area) or turn off the aircard--reconnect- which means you'll be re-assigned a new IP address --
report the one that was banned the next time you get in.
