Super solo/single?

Some time back I read a post regarding something called "super single" or "super solo" (not sure which it was now). For the life of me, I can't find it now. Does anyone have any info on such a thing, or of any companies that offer this? A company was suggested in that post. My husband and I drive team and are having trouble sleeping while traveling down the road. We've tried everything, but so much of the roads traveled are so rough, we're bounced around, exhausting us. As a team, our wheels should be rolling basically 24/7, but we're finding we need to shut down now and again after several shifts of not getting enough sleep. Of course, this makes us late on loads, and our company not happy, rightfully so. Our loads usually come in back-to-back, not giving us much time in between for rest, along with tight delivery appointments. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We love driving team and love the life, other than the lack of sleep.

The only company I have ever seen use that term is Super Service.

I know it can take a bit of getting used to trying to get good sleep while the truck is moving.....is the issue with you guys not sleeping well the matter of you not being able to sleep directly from the truck in motion, or a matter of you could sleep if you weren't being tossed around in the bunk? If it's a matter of not sleeping due to being tossed about there may be a few things..I know some that have an air mattress in the bunk over the regular one, haven't tried it myself but I hear it works a bit better......when my husband and I were both out there we were fortunate enough to be able to sleep when it was our turn to do so, it did take some getting used to in the beginnings when we were both out there but once we got adjusted to it we did ok with things. If it's a matter of the drivers radios or whatnot going on up there some earplugs, headphones on something that helps you fall asleep and blocks out outside noises would be something..........I know I read you guys have already tried everything just thinking would be so nice to find something that really does work well for the both of you to get your sleep and be able to make those appointments on time and all the good stuff. Guess I'm thinking going to a different route tends to change the income, but I suppose that all varies from place to place as well.......I know we made more when we were taking team loads than taking solo runs and running them together.
Hoping you guys find something that works well for you both quick like over there, no good being late on those loads and even worse thinking of having to be out there driving when you're not 100% your best due to lack of sleep......scary thought.......... Wishing you all the best over there

I drive for KLLM and they put teams into two groups A and B.
The A team can run 24/7 and the B team is one that needs to be able to stop for a few hours each day. Most of team freight here runs from CA and AZ and back to Chicago, Dallas or Atlanta for the most part. Many of the teams runs are drop and hook on the delivery end. This allows the teams to run as hard as they want or slow up a little and get some rest. The loads have delivery appts but an A team can usually get it there 24 hrs early. Communication is the key and here they have dispatchers dedicated to teams only.

the fact that you cannot find them is reason not to buy them. i see them a lot. but unlike duals, if you get a flat your stuck. no going slower to get to a tire shop. one driver told me he had a flat on one & the nearest tire shop that was able to get one to him was 200 miles away. this was a maverick co driver.

Super single as in team drivers not super singles as in tires!

Super singles are tires and has nothing to do with team driving. They are made by Michelin. Instead of dual budded tires on the drives it is just one wide tire. Some people like them, some don't. My company seems to be high on them. I don't think it would make a ride less rough on crappy roads. The big issue is that you are screwed when one blows out.
