Default Hey Moderators

Hey moderators I have a quick question to ask. What I am wondering is why every once in a while when I am on my air card while on the road when I come to the message boards for this site it says that I am banned and I am not even logged in. I do enjoy comming here and helping out other drivers on the boards when I am able to and I dont think I post anything offensive. If I am doing something wrong when I am trying to get onto the boards please let me know
Thanks
Rick

Are you using an "actual" air card, or using wifi from a truckstop? I know that CAD bans certain internet providers from accessing CAD.

If your using a actual card such as verizon, sprint, cingular, I can walk you though gettting your utilities set up to allow access to the site.

The same thing was happening with my Aircard, for quite a while. I didnt understand so I emailed CAD. I wasnt really banned but it had something to do with Cincular/ATT aircard. Usually I'd just Disconnect, then Reconnect and it would be fine. It only occurred when accessing CAD, all other sights worked fine.
Hasnt happened in a couple of months.

Check this thread here on CAD for a possible explanation and solution. What I used to do when using those flaky Wi-Fi services was using a proxy to access. Try Proxy.org. As far as aircard bans, not too sure. A proxy will work, but certainly isn't ideal.

I haven't had the problem with my T-Mobile aircard, but I couldn't log on using the IdleAir wi-fi at the Pilot in Baytown, TX :? Had to switch to my aircard to log on....
