The program seems to be designed for people that have some knowledge of a truck.

Very well thanks.I did fail my 1st state test, but it was pure nerves not lack of skill. I test again Tuesday, I will pass this time. I get alot of seat time, last week I got over 20hrs behind the wheel and alot of mountain driving in the mix

wish we had mountains here in florida. but i did get to alot of downtown driving in tampa, lots of narrow streets and tight turns. don't worry about your skills test, just take your time and slowdown on your manuevers.

what types of basic skills do you have to perform? we had staightline backing, offset left and right, parallel park driver and blind side, and alley dock. i found the alley to be fairly easy and the driver side to be somewhat complicated. eventhough i passed all my test the first time around and scored 100% on my pti.
