Default what kind of dog should I get?

I am trying to decide what kind of dog to get to take on the road with me. I am leaning towards English Bulldog or Boston Terrier. What kinds of dog do you have in the cab?

Hey - at least you'll be able to idle your truck with a dog on board. Pretty bad when it's ok to roast a driver, but not a mutt someone gave to you for free.

DONT get an english bulldog. they are high maintinence pets and are prone to skin infections and lymphoma.
which, by the way, my 3 year old english bull just died from lymphoma.
i miss him
besides you would have to lift him in and out of the cab. im sure that would get old after a while.
and his farts stink

Research the breeds you are thinking about. You do not want a high energy dog, and you do not want one that tends to shed a lot.

Get a cat, alot smarter than a dog and they aren't as "needy"
Dogs are just reincarnated retarded 3yr olds.

Before getting a dog or any pet, you may want to check with your carrier to see what their policies are concerning having pets in their truck. Some won't allow it, others may require you to put up a deposit to take care of any damage the pet may cause. It could come down to you having a dog or a job. Policies differ. Having a pet in your truck can be a safety issue, in addition to the possible damage to a truck. The owner of the truck could be held liable should your dog bite someone. Some receivers and/or shippers don't allow pets on their premises. I don't understand why anyone would think it is alright to take a pet to work. This is a business. Your truck is your office. You would not be able to take a pet to an office with you. Why not get a stuffed animal. You don't have to feed it, water it, walk it or clean up after it.
