Some difference yes, mojor differences, I dont see them... I am required to have the same things that other truckers are required to have.. I guess the big difference would be the OTR, getting used to sleeping in the truck, but backing to a dock would be easy compared to some of the parking lots I have to drive around in.. You remember Im sure.. Thanks for the reply, stay safe and take care...

Actually NO, manuvering a small sideloader through a parking lot with a daycab is CAKE, haha....TRUST ME! I did it for 5 1/2 years, then went in a short-haul position with a '53.... BIG DIFFERENCE!!! When you get lost in that sideloader, you can swing it in anywhere and grab some directions.... get lost, so what.... swing it around in a carryout parking lot.... NOT A BIG TRUCK!!! Getting "good" at docking dosen't come from a sideload trailer either. Now I do know the '53 is easier to back, but parking lot manuverability has no bearing on docking.
