For every 10 hour break you can drive for up to 11 hours.

So when you take your break you need to take 10 consecutive hours. Since you do not have a sleeper berth you log this as OFF DUTY.

Then you can drive up to 11 hours.

Be sure to remember that you can not drive after the 14th hour since coming on duty for the day until you complete your break.

Also be sure to keep track of your 70 hours in 8 days total.

no. 11 hours driving. 14 on duty, combined line 3 and 4. you can go over 14 as long as you do not drive after you hit 14 untill you take a 10 hour break.

14 on duty, combined line 3 and 4.
Becareful here, After a 10 hour break your 14hr clock is a combination of all lines. 1,2,3,4, even line2 if applicable (Line 2 does have the power to stop the 14hr clock with a continuous 8hrs logged on line2). The 14hr clock runs continuous regardless of your duty status.

After a 10hr break your 1st duty change will be line4 for the VI. From that point you are now on duty. You have 14hrs to complete your day. (Dont forget the 15 min line 4 for VI, leaving 13.75hrs of on duty time).
Within that 14hr duty day you may drive up to 11hrs. You may not drive past the 14hr point regardless if you have any line3 time left. You may continue "on duty not driving" (line 4)past the 14hr.
