For the most part, everyone has given you good advice, but I also have a couple of Cobra29s. My uncle used to drive for Flightline. A trucking company in Ft Smith, Ar. He gave me a Cobra29 that he had. It just sat in his garage. I use one of them at work, and the other is in my pickup. Both are good radios. Of course, I have a good guy that works on radios. (Rusty's CB Shop, Bowie, Tx)
There are other good radios out there. Uniden makes good radios. As well as Connex, and Galaxy. I've wanted to get me a Connex, but I cant see myself paying $400 for a CB Radio. I like my Cobras just fine. You got a good radio.
If by chance, you are looking into a good antenna, me personally, I would get a Francis antenna. They dont cost that much, and they also work well. They recieve good, and they can get out.
