Default Passenger seat on board trainers' trucks

The driver's seat is usually quite comfortable and has air-ride, whereas the passenger seat is usually like sitting on a block of wood. Now, when one is in training with a trainer, what kind of passenger seats do trainers' trucks usually have ?

Air ride. Nowadays, any company who has non-air chairs in the passenger seat is a couple cards short of a full-deck!

Think about it...how many company trainers are going to tolerate themselves riding in a non-air chair jumpseat while observing their trainees?!

Most "trainers" are "observing" / "training" from the sleeper berth. the air seats on the passenger side (like real training programs) may be seen by the training company as a needless expense.

You mean the trainer with 6 months experience doesn't rate an air ride seat? Surely he has paid his dues.
