Default Dot physical

What if you are a border line diabetic will it disqualify you from getting into driving school or truck driving.

As long as you are not on insulin shots, and you can control it with oral medication you will be fine. You will need to have a doctors note and you will have to pass a companies drug screen by not having any sugar in your urine--which your medicine should contol. Good Luck

As long as it is controlled without the need for insulin then you will not need to jump through any extra hoops.

You should be OK. Your doctor doing the physical may only give you a one year DOT card just to track your diabetes.
