Air Dump Valves

Some carriers and/or trailer rental companies don't have them because drivers will sometimes leave the valve open as they drive down the highway. This throws all of the trailer weight on one axle and could result in trailer damage. Instead of having 20,000 on a single axle, you could have as much as 40,000 on a single axle if one is not helping support the weight. When I bought my step deck I was told that if I put a dump valve on it that my warranty would be voided, probably for the same reason. Some owner operators and companies have put large lights and buzzers on the dump valve switch to remind drivers the valve is open.
