Work History?

Hi! I'm new to this board and thought that I would ask this question
about work history and if it will effect getting a job. I have been out of work for over a year and a half Would this affect my chances of getting hired. I would just like to know be for i decide to try and get cdl and try to get hired. Thanks!!!

You will have to get something that proves what you have been doing for the past year and a half. Usually a notarized letter will do. Just ask any potential company what they will need to prove this time.

Thanks for the reply. That might actually through a monkey wrench into
my plans. Seeing as how I've been working on my house and helping my my wife with her business. O well I guess I can call any perspective employers and see what they say it never hurts to ask. Whats the worst the can do say no. Thanks!! again.

Just go to most any banks and some stores and get a letter from a friend or two saying that you were unemployed for that time and not in prison or whatever and that you was just helping your wife with her business and get it notarized. Its no big deal really. That should cover it. BOL
