Default Rig rollover in Ohio today

I was just wondering if anyone else saw the rig on it's side at I-80 ex 71 today? I decided to stop at the Petro for lunch and I guess he took the ramp too fast. First time I ever saw a rig rolled over. It was a stark reminded of why I always take my time on ramps and never rush. A lot of his belongings had been ejected from the cab and were all over the ground. I really hope he was ok...

Didnt go through there to day but they tip over around there all the time, especially I-280 south to I-80.

How about the Stevens truck that went over the side on westbound 80 at the 43mm in PA?

This was I80 going south to I280. Don't know why they'd tip over there all the time. Looks like any other clover leaf to me.

I don't know that interchange off hand, but one of the big culprits is interchanges with curves that get progressively tighter. Hit the ramp a little faster than the posted limit because it's obvious you can make that curve at 40 instead of 25, and then you get halfway into the curve, and uh oh, it's going, going...

I used to go around a curve like that in Richmond, VA all the time. Never had a problem with the extra tightness at the top, and I would hit the bottom a little fast, and brake it down just as it needed braking down, to take the last bit of the curve. All well and good until the time a yellowjacket flew in the window, up my shorts, and stung my scrotum right when I was at that critical point in the maneuver. I didn't roll it, but damn, that was close. Not to mention my scrotum was none too happy either when I did the natural thing to kill that yellowjacket, and instinctively gave myself a HARD punch squar in the nuts.

Ouch.

Evidently it had been there for some time, the tow truck and crane was already there to move it....
