I have a friend that works for united as a lumper and he said I should look into coming over there. The main questions I have is from a driver stand point and finding out different information. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.
1.) How often are you home? My understanding is that they have agents in different cities so are you only driving for that one agent then go back home.

2.) Are you only driving or are you loading/unloading as well?

3.) How do they pay, miles or hourly?

I'm sure I have many other questions and am trying to get my number to one of the cdl drivers for the agent my friend is working for and talk to him/her. I just don't want to just take his word for everything so he can get a referral bonus. Please help as if it is worth it and the hometime is good I will be going to do it.
