HELP how am I over my 14?

The only thing I can think of at this moment is if the program added a 15 min post trip at the end of the day and that put you over on your 14. According to your post, you were right at your 14 hrs when you ended your day.

Nope. A post trip isn't driving. You can be on duty as long as you want beyond the 14th hour, as long as you aren't driving, so that can't be it.

Stupid question but what is the world is truckers helper? is it some type of computer software? if that's the case, where can one buy it?
