The seats are really bad. The truck its rides bad in general. If I keep it the seat HAS to go.lol I didn't mention before it has a couch that folds out to a bed. It is hard as a brick and feel every bumb in the road as I am a team driver. I took the mattress of the top and put it over the bed and that helped so I'm thinking some foam will fix that.

I'd really have to think about this one. I'd probably go with the the Peterworth or Kenbilt. Does that help at all ?

I'd really go with the Kenworth. I like the transition into the sleeper better and a few other things. Does the Kenworth have a 8 bag suspension ? That's probably why it rides worse than the Peterbilt with just the 4 bag. 8) 8)

yes it is the 8 bag. I thought that would make for a better ride.

Is this going to be your truck and are you going to be paying for the fuel? If so, with today's fuel costs, why are you looking at flat fronts rather than a more aero design? Those are two barn doors pushing the wind down the road.

Don't mean to turn this into a fuel millage debate, but our 1999 Freightliner Classic with a 12.7L 490HP Detriot gets better fuel millage than the fellow that runs for us with a 2005 Mack Granite with 380HP Mack and to me the Mack is a whole lot more aero dynamic than the Freightliner.

And I don't want to turn this into a fuel mileage debate either....and I realize that how you drive is the most dominant factor in efficiency. But...if I was looking for a truck for my own business I would want as much cash-ola to flow to the bottom line as possible. And given that I would drive the same with either truck, it just seems that an aero design would alow more dead presidents to hit the bottom line.

But if I wasn't paying for the fuel...whole different story...M-cobra looks like you're having to choose between a blonde and a brunette....and you can't have both

Well, you can look at it another way. Let's see, where will you spend most of your waking hours? In the driver seat rolling down the road hopefully.

Which one rides better...the Pete! If what you say is correct you might spend most of your sleeping time awake in the KW too if the bed is uncomfortable. I can tell you when I am asleep, as long as I can stretch out from head to toe, I don't care how much room I have "around" me in my "big"sleeper.

I was told along time ago by a very smart man (my father) Why drive a cabover that is easy to park when most of my time is rolling down the road...enjoy your 90% and put up with your 10%.

Have you checked the airbag setting on the back of the cab? My 2006 International cornbinder was a rough riding #$$#@@#$%^^%$#$# until I got under there and changed the setting to lift the cab higher.... it made one heckuva difference!! Also, check the frame height to the wheels. Sometimes setting the frame up a little will help.....inflate the rear axle bags more by adjusting the valve at the tail....
