When you ban the ISP...will that ban other members also on that ISP?

...and if so...how do you get that mess worked out? Will these innocent victims be able to be restored with their same user ID and original account?

Please forgive me if it sounded as if I was trying to take you, or any other moderators here to task. That was not my intention at all.

It's just that when I look at the similarities in writting styles, sentence structure, grammar, and in Prodigy's case, his origional Avitar, the similarities were rather striking to me.

As far as banning people (if Crete_drvr/ Prodigy/ Fudgemaker2 even qualify as human beings!!) in the time that I have been here, with a few exceptions, it seems that someone has to really hang himself in order to get banned.

IMHO, there have been certain posters (besides me!!) who contribute nothing here. (Ex: DaKine, LewisFriend/ Col.Toon/ Chad) who only serve to waste space and annoy people.

We try not to ban IPs unless the situation is extreme. Last night, it was just that, so I did a blanket ban of the poster's ISP locale. Hopefully, it won't effect other members, but if it does, they can follow the instructions on that post and send me an e-mail. In the meantime, we are currently working on a couple of ideas to keep this from happening in the future, too, as well as following up with Crete to see if there is any action they can take when they ID him.

Useless, I didn't see any place that you were trying to take us on, so no worries there. You are right in that some people don't add much to a messageboard. Ron Kniesly/Chad Sexington/Colonol Toon/Lewis Friend/Dawn whatever however, is harmless. He's everywhere, not just here. I doubt he's a driver, even when he had the 'grapes' that show his stubs.

Like I said, we try to be pretty laid back and give people a little room to express themselves. We'll give warnings when we see fit, but the only time we'll lay out a ban is when someone has gone over the line. ClassA has a good little group of mods that are here primarily to just make sure things run smoothly. We try not to overmoderate and try to remain neutral in a lot of things, even when inwardly we wish we didn't have to.

Man...I just wonder what goes thru the minds of people like that....ya know they can post whatever garbage they want and we take it as such and do things such as banning them....but late at night, looking in the mirror, it is only them looking back.... there is no hiding then....pretty damn sad and obviously a person in need of help!!

Well, I thought that it was the same guy. He seemed like he had a few bricks shy of a load. :| I never knew that he and Prodigy was the same dude. Never saw it. Of course, there are several things out there that I miss half the time. :?

I have no idea what he done but I'm thinking he's the guy who has the roehldriver.com website. I know the person who has that site now drives for Crete. Does anyone know if it's him?
