I was trying to find out how many miles you guys are getting in the OTR division? Is there a major difference between the dry van and reefer divisions? Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan when I worked for Shaffer, I talked to a lot of drivers for both divisions, the regional drivers seemed to get a lot more miles with Crete, the national drivers got about the same (3000) a week average or so they all said. another major difference is the dry freight is about 2000 percent less pain in the rectal area.

What states did you see the most? What is the length of haul like?
Crete says they are 75-80 percent drop and hook but Shaffer doesn't say anything about that.
Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks. That's what I was wanting to here, that people can really get good miles there. at .41 a mile and paying practical miles i should do great there. Also sounds like they are a good solid company and treat their drivers well. Only reason I'm waiting until August is that if you have less than one year experience you have to go out with a trainer for a month.

Ryan All lumpers are paid, or you can do it yourself and make a few extra bucks, but they will pay lumpers a lot more than they will pay you
