I have been driving for a company for the last few months actually got my cdl through them as well. they are currently paying my tuition and upon completion of the training they had me sign a paper stating that if they overpaid me that they could debit my account for the difference. My question is if I transfer to a different company could they pull any crap and debit my account for any reason etc. I am a little worried that they would try and debit me and claim over payment or something a long those lines.

Did you sign a one-year or two-year contract to work for them in exchange for paying your tuition? IF that is the case then they could charge you for the whole amount if you decide to quit before the contract is up.

What account? Your checking account, savings account? They're more likely to hold back your last payment than anything.
If you're that worried, start a second checking account, sweep all the money from the current "account" your company knows about into the second. Hard for your current employer to get something from nothing.
Or.... fulfill your contract with the company you earned your CDL with and everything is peachy. BOL

Didn't sign a contract got financing through flying J they set me up with a TAB Account but the company cosigned for the loan.

Have not had a good experience with my current company, Already been a week waiting to get a load out of Denver :cry: :cry: They tell me freight is slow in this area. If I am sitting I'm not making money. They state that if you quiet they hold your last payment and put it towards the school but I rather make the payment the give up a chunk of money if you know what I mean. I have bills to pay you know.
