Typical ap-to-hire time...
#1
I'm chasing around behind Crete like a dog after her tail, and I'm wondering if there's a "typical" period between how long you start courtin' a company and when they notify you whether or not you're going to be hired?
It's been a couple of weeks, and we've been in contact, but I'm wondering if I ought to at least begin looking at other companies...just in case? I'd appreciate hearing from present Crete drivers, especially, but thanks for anyone's input. Thanx, Jewels

If you have not heard from them in a couple of weeks you need to call them and ask about the status of your application.

In my experience, the time it takes to process a application just depends on the application itself. If there is a lot of work history to verify then it could take a while. Sometimes former employers do not respond very quickly either. It could be a number of things. I would just call them and check up on it. BOL

then, I should probably just "chill" and call to check on the ap. Okay, then, my neurotic fingernail chomping is probably totally uncalled for?
 Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. My cat's starting to look at me funny---I'd begun to pace like him! Jewels
