Congrats to you TT!

That is same anywhere in the province TT. Some of the larger carriers will take newbs from some of the different schools. I only have investigated 2 who do; Schneider out of Guelph, ON and Kriska out of Prescott, ON. I have also contacted Thompson Terminals, Erb Transport, and Bison (Winnipeg, MB). Each of them requires min 2yrs as well although I think Erb may take someone with 1yr they said. Erb is reefer only up this way.

I can provide you with a name of Schneider Recruiting Mgr Cdn Div......Brian Danjaw 1-800-752-5319 ext 8295

or contact Kriska via their website.

Good Luck, keep us posted please.

I think Eldorado is out of Windsor...and judging by the way some of their drivers drive i don't think they require any experience at all, you probably don't even need a drivers licence!

Now wheres the emoticon with the turban on it?

Default congrates man

They are always saying how there is a shortage of drivers but only expeirenced . It took me 4 months this year to find a company willing to give me a chance ,it's small , 9 units, on flat bed. A good site to go to is trucknews .com . Down in Windsor there should be lots of companies to choose from, some one will eventually give you a chance, it may not be what you're looking for but it'll get your feet wet for 6 or 12 months till you can get hired on somewhere else. I've only been driving for 2 weeks now and love it so far till I have to go to Toronto area, hate that city. Good luck and safe driving
