We get $24/h, overtime after 8, and benefits driving 5 axle concrete mixers. Not like its a hard job either, I've worked alot harder for less, plus your home every night. We average 10-11 hours a day, and usually only 5 days a week. Also, its so busy up here, we work year round regardless of weather. Gotta love pouring at -35 C lol

Has anyone heard or have worked for US Concrete? I just had an interview with them yesterday and was told the job was mine if I wanted it. What should I expect in this type of business...driving mixers. I was told I was to start out at 12.50 an hour/paid weekly and plenty of OT opportunities. Full benefits after 60 days, and stock purchase program, and 401 K. and a quarterly paid safety bonus of 250 and another bonus having to deal with the amount of concrete I haul could get me an extra grand a month.
BTW it's in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. -Watcher
