Yesterday I took my test to get my permit with all endorsements except school buss. Passed everything with no problem.
When I went to the counter to get my permit, they said they found a Suspended or Revoked License from Florida.
I haven't had a license from Florida for over 18 years, and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out why it was suspended. I did get a ticket for going 65 in a 55, but I paid that just before I moved.

Called Florida at 5 am asked what was going on and what I had to do to fix this. They said "No problem, we will just activate it" When I asked why this happened, they said "couldn't tell ya, don't know" I asked if I had a fine I needed to pay, they said "nope and it's all fixed, it's reactivated".

I asked for a letter of conformation to be faxed to me ( just in case )
Walked into DMV this morning and got my permit.
Now I just need to wait for monday ( school )

 

Sounds similar to my problem. It took an act of Georgia Congress to get my License back.

a guy in NJ, same name, born same year, but a month differently gotten a DUI and lost his License permitly. State of Georgia took it as me, and supended my License.

Now everytime I go they get a little excited, but they do give it to me. They will tell me it will take a little bit, to have a sit and be right with me. 30 minutes later They give it to me, and apologize for the delay but said there was a small problem with my License. When I ask what the problem. they mention NJ.
