Default Daylight Savings Time reminder

Hopefully, this is old news for everybody and only serves to irritate somebody.

Default Daylight Savings Time

I'm sure the soccer moms are gonna be thrilled that their prides and joy will be going to school when it's dark until 8 AM in some parts of the country in early March. Never could figure out how the claim can be made for less energy usage by it being darker later in the morning. Seems to be nuetral for energy usage at best. But then maybe it's 'cause I grew up on a farm when daylight "saving" just meant a later start to the day. BOL

Yeah, I wished they would split the difference, and leave it alone. :P

A couple of states dont use daylight savings, right?

Congratulations. I'm irritated. :P

I hate Daylight savings time. Back to cold and dark in the morning again. Imagine all the electricity I'll save having to turn lights on again in the morning in order to see. :?

Arizona doesn't. I thought at one time 1/2 of Indiana didn't either but didn't they change that recently?

I found this on the microsoft's web site that is more user friendly to figure out what you need to do.

I'm with Jackrabbit! Split the difference and leave it the heck alone. I wish we could find the responsible party and work him or her over with a Hot Shot.
