Well, I'm off with a real load in the morning. I will be meeting with a temporary trainer hauling local loads from Tacoma to BC Canada and back while I wait for my OTR trainer to get into town to pick me up. I will finally be hauling real freight to real loading docks! No more backing between cones or white lines painted on the ground to simulate loading docks.
At 50 years of age I'm a somewhat embarrassed to feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve.

I should start my OTR training on Wednesday. My trainer lives in California. So, I won't see home until I finish my 200 hours of driving time. Should be 4 to 7 weeks.
