LMAO I have only driven in snow 1 time in my entire life and it was the funniest thing, I had a dodge Dakota and I was up in Lavonia going to work there was about 6 inches on the highway and there were ruts in that stuff, every one was driving 35 mph and I was passing everyone. I drove it like a dirt road with ruts lol.

2 trucks trying to pass each other while being governed to 65 mph is like nascar restrictor plate racing.

Be lucky you guys have the option to pull it over and call it a night, it was ugly last night to say the least.
Had several 4 wheelers spin around and bang off various cement medians/walls/other cars in front, beside and behind me, very interesting night. I lost about 90 minutes compared to a normal run but in automotive freight the show must go on. I did well, the 280 in Ohio was shut down, several sections of I75 in Mich/Ohio was down, had our guys doing all sorts of detours to keep the plants humming, at least my run was just all snow and no detours. |
