Yes QC has a volume control......

other things to remember about the QC, it can tell your company alot of things, mostly they keep track of fuel milage but they know when your in motion.. this can cause a logbook violation, like your in the sleeper berth but yet the QC shows your truck was moving during that time, company might not say anything but they do watch motion... they can read any guage on the dash if they want, like oil presure or your milage or even if you have low air, it can track almost everything in your truck is what freightliner techs told me today, I asked why and its just becauuse the QC is connected through the computer in the truck it can tell if you are trying to tamper with anything like the governor and so on, they know how fast you can go so if you paid that kid at the truckstop to turn up your truck the QC will tell company the day and time it happened , if the company knows how to look and use the QC at their end, but its all their to read anytime they want, its not just for idle time and fuel milage, it will tell everything as it happens so try not to hack the QC, its pretty much hack proof anyway but I get asked all the time if I can hack it and how.... like i would know is what I say.....
