Hi guys. Ok, I'm considering getting my CDL. I know there are various ways to train like Technical Schools and company training. But, when it comes time for the actual road/skills test, where do you get a truck? I know that's a silly question but I have no idea. Thanks.

The school, be it private or company, you go through will have trucks for you to test in. It is all part of the package.

(The motel they put you in is a dump, but you do get a private room with a fridge and a microwave, so you can save a lot on meals if you're so inclined. If you think you can find your own lodging cheaper, knock $500 off the amount above.) Their website's a little sparse, but if you're interested, see: http://smti-inc.com/
