Not idling in the winter, is it just me?

Birken I used to haul a set of flats up and down the Calif. coast. Where I worked an old Mexican driver we had could angle back a set of flats into a parking space! Don't under estimate the older driver, who have been doing this longer than some of you are old. The drivers of today, some of them anyway would have not made it in the old days....lol

I'm not even an O/O, so it not because I'm cheap. But I do enjoy having one of the lowest idling% in the fleet.

Being away from home was bad enough, I wasn't about to do without the comforts of home. Unless of course there was a significant fuel bonus involved.... EXACTLY! That's how I thought too... Only the guys who had some seniority got one of the 100 thermo king tripac's. So that left me idling basically 24/7
