I load up on protein bars at meijers up in michigan and munch on those as the need arises, for a little bonus I'll dab on some peanut butter from those small kraft packs from a diner.
A ziplock bag of carrots keeps the hunger at bay and takes a while to eat them as well, allowing the feeling of fullness as it happens as opposed to wolfing down something quick and hunting for more as your stomach has not sent the signal yet. Grapes work well too, heck I'll hit pineapple and mango when feeling zany, whatever. I watch the portion control as well, when treating yourself to a nice dinner at a stop, enjoy it and take half to go and enjoy later that day or even the next day. I found with a love of juices and iced tea/lemonade (I do not care for soda/pop) the calories were adding up to 500 plus in a day, that is substantial, as in a pound of weight gain on sugar alone, not good. Cut that out 99% of the time and run bottled water with those single use Crstal light packages. They have over 10 flavors and mix it up to keep it interesting. That 1 move for me (or soda drinkers) can mean the difference between maintaining weight or gaining. I am in good shape and was before trucking and not about to let a sedentary occupation destroy that, let the office drones with TGIF fridays bloat out yearly, not here!

![]() Tammy I was up at Calais Maine the other week, and I walked accross the bridge (customs) to take some pictures from the other side (Canadian). I forgot all about entering a convenience store to see what Common Wealth goodies were available (UK products) :?

Gotcha, I was just curious (Walkers Crisps are potato chips for those with ?????). They come is some pretty odd flavors. I heard they are sold in some parts of Canada. On a funny note, I went to Freeport Maine this past weekend. I visited the British shop (they have never stocked Walkers Crips) and they have an expensive selection candies. They even had frozen Haggis -- I passed! 8) Oops.... back to the original thread ops:
