When I started driving with DTI, {recruited from L.A.} it was all they gave me. Just short runs in the N.E. and sitting for the W/E. Imported cheap labor. It was six weeks before I saw the sun. Being new I trusted dispatch {actually didn't realize what was going on}.
On the good side I did learn how to handle winter driving and operating the vehicle in tight areas.
