It is my understanding that a few tried it some years ago and they didn't get many people who wanted to use the facilities. They also found out that they could make more money by putting in video machines than exercise equipment. If you want to get some exercise, find some things you can do in the truck. Some use training weights or isometrics. You can also walk around the parking lot. It is great exercise trying to dodge the trucks racing through some parking lots. :P

I got more exercise equipment in my truck than most have at their home . You can bring weights along in any truck ,but you bring more in a light truck like a t-600 or a century as opposed to a w-900 ,379..Or a Classic . my t-600 is registered at 16,268 which is about 1300 lbs less than a w-900 ,379 Or a Classic .

I'm going to promote the heck out of these for truck drivers after I'm driving . . . . they're called kettlebells.

Go to www.dragondoor.com

No, I'm not s shill for the company nor do I get a cut of their sales. It's just a good piece of gear.

Picture a heavy iron ball with a thick handle on it. You can lift it or swing it. It's the swinging that really helps burn calories fast. Depending on the weight you get, they'll weigh 35, 53 or 70 pounds.

They can be stored anywhere, can be chained down for safety, are a lot of fun and really work.

I've read about guys carrying bikes but I haven't seen anyone with one and can't figure out where they'd hang it. I'd like to get one anyone know where or how to store it?

Rest areas are great places to park I find. When I take my dog on trips we walk all around the perimeter. I've seen many other drivers doing the same. Not as easy to do at a truckstop. Drive safe everyone.
