If you go to PD.com, be prepared for some pretty harsh things to be said about SNI. There's also many people that are happy with them as well.

I did my training with the Pumpkin two years ago and am still with them. I must have talked to hundreds of different drivers from all over the country and to tell you the truth I cannot answer your question. I do not know who is the best. I will tell you I thought my two weeks in Green Bay was boot camp again, it is tough and you will definitely know weather you want to be over the road or not. Some of the instructors were very good and some sucked! My TE was very good he was on a dedicated route so I was home on the weekends and was out for two weeks with him. He taught me a lot that the school did not.

If I had to go to the bathroom or something like that he might say well, if it was poo, he would say ok, in about 100 miles, he knew where everything was. After I drove about 10 hours the first day I could not sleep worth a hoot, I was off I think 10 hours, I started to drive and after about 4 hours driving I started yawning like crazy, he told me to pull over and get in the sleeper I slept for about 4 hours and I went back to driving.

When I had trouble with a dock he was very supportive and walked me though it.

He was big on safety and details but be sure he wanted that truck moving, he would always say if these wheels are not spinning, we don't make money.

I have been driving as a ream since then and getting a good miles and have a really good relationship with my STL, hope this helps.

As an owner of a truck driving school I just visited Schneider training facility this past November to check it out.

I have seen allot of big company driver training programs even though Schneider is somewhat in competition with me. I would have no problem recommending their training program.

Yes it's like boot camp but then again so is trucking and so is my school as far as the hours go and the times that you will be in school.

Good Luck to all you new drivers. www.ibtrucking.com

I went to SNIs school in Charlotte NC,,,it was fast paced and your first time in a truck is on the streets...it was very intemidating to some people, but the trainning was good. Some long days, with home work every night.
I'm no longer with them ,,but the trainning was good.
