Go to the website cristcdl.com. In the upper left corner is a box. Select "Online Testing Center." Take all the tests down the left side of the screen. Once you can pass them, you will pass the real test at DOL.

I just took the general knowledge, air brakes, combination, and doubles and triples with no problem. I live about 5 minutes from our local DOL office. So, I took each test separately. That helped me since I was only studying one section at a time.

I hate to tell you this. But, you are going to have to study the manual! Taking the practice tests at this website was very helpful, however.

If I can pass them, anyone can! But, I'm 50. I didn't trust my brain to still function! So, I studied my fool head off!

BOL!

Yea, I agree. I got the CDL study guide from the DMV here in my town, and studied it, went to the website RM mentioned and passed all 5 test in one sitting in about 40 minutes, no problem. You'd be well advised to read the study guide though as he said, where were some questions on there that were kind of out of left field.

Bradley will probably be the closest place you can take your written and/or skills test at.

You can take the written test anytime the facility is open and the skills test is by appointment only.

Yep, get the book and study it. The questions on the test will be from the book, you have to know the book.

Definately read the manual and be sure you can answer all the questions found in it, also take take the practice tests online. If you can easily answer all of the questions between the 2 you should have no problems.
