how "long" is long haul ?

To me it means the number of times you load/unload a week. If you load once and unload once and put on 3100 miles that is long haul,if you load twice and unload twice and put on 2700 miles that is short haul.

I also consider anything over about 1200 miles a long haul, BUT, in a certain direction regardless of the amount of stops. 1200 miles in a certain area, like running around the northeast, is regional not long haul. The longest haul I ever had was almost 3000 paid miles, Gloucester,MA to Seattle,WA. It was flippin' sweet
