YAY!!!!!

I just heard from my recruiter at Swift. I'm in and start training next tuesday. Classes usually start on Weds, but because of T'giving they're starting on Tuesday.

when ya go learn lots and take note's ask lots and lot's of ?????'s and if you feel in danger with the Trainer report his azz to Training Cord. and/or Safety dept.do not take any abuse off him request a new one this is just to refresh your memory LOL,then again you may get the bestest Trainer out there so good luck to ya keep us posted.

 

I'll be at the TN training center. Just called and got my ticket info, I'll be heading out on Monday the 20th via Greyhound. Gonna go thru the house today and get everything ready this week. I wish I coulda left today and started tommorow. I wanna get this show on the road.

Also after training from what i've heard alotta people have had to wait for a mentor. From some people i've talked to including my recruiter you (me) have the option to get bussed to another hub to pickup ur trainer right away which sounds good to me. The sooner I get on the road the sooner I'll get paid and the sooner I'll get to roll solo

and btw... my comment about being sick to hear back from anyone wasn't about on here lol. I meant at Swift. Was told I'd know friday, then monday morning, then monday afternoon, then this morning... finally at noon today I got the good news

No Cumberland is in Maryland (there are alot of cumberlands tho but mine is in MD)

I just broke the news to my family lol my dad is thrilled as he used to work on semi's after he got out of the military and always wanted to drive one, my mom well.. she's her usual grumpy self when I do things she doesn't approve of but then again thats the reason I'm driving. Being 25 and still being shamed into job enviroments that my family wants me to be in and I'm sick of it lol. This is for me because its what I'll enjoy and what I want to do.

Neways Thanks everyone Just got to take care of some last minute things before I go. G/f and kids are goin to her mom's house in DC while I'm gone and will probably end up moving back there because she doesn't want to be at our apartment alone for weeks at a time. Thats good because it will also save us money.
