Is there a standard size for sleeper bunks? I want to know so I can order a mattress pad prior to graduation so I will have one ready when I finish training.

Trucks have different size beds. You will need to get your truck or at least find out what kind of truck you will be driving before anyone can answer this. Or just buy a big foam egg crate pad and cut it to size when you get your truck.

The mattress size is generally a bit longer than a standard twin matt, and a bit wider. Truckstops sell the most common size sheets, or you can just use a larger standard (full size) sheet, and tuck it under.

Yeah, i am in a Freightshaker Columbia with the 70 inch sleeper...I have a twin size set of bedding on it but you have to stretch out the fitted sheet pretty good to get it on there....it goes on without problem but fits real snug...so like to rev. said the size is a bit different from a standard twin.

I have worked for a lot of companies and have only been with two who did not order innerspring mattresses for the company trucks. ================================================= Back to the original topic. Bunks and matresses can and do vary from truck to truck as far as size and even quality go. Mattress sizes will range anywhere from a twin to a twin and a half (in width) in length they will either be standard or long.
