HAZMAT
I did a search but did not find what I wanted to know. What are the new procedures for getting a HAZMAT endorsement? I know you need fingerprints but is there a website that explains this procedure

I just got mine in August. You will need your birth certificate. Have finger prints taken and take the hazmat test. They will do a background check on you. It can take up to 60 days. I got mine back in 10. You will get a letter in the mail that states youre not a security risk. Then just go back to the dmv to get the endorsement. You will need to do this this every time you have to renew your license.

In Maine:
First you take the endorsement multiple choice test. Then you get your fingerprints taken. When they take your fingerprints they check your identity paperwork and birth certificate. You can find locations at http://www.hazprints.com/
