i saw in a book the worlds grestest tow trucks they had one in there with like 41 speed or something like that.

I seen a Western Star for sale in the truckpaper awhile back that had a 18 speed with a 2 speed auxiliary behind it.

I used to have a Super Heavy Hauler that had a 12V71 with twin turbos and replaced the blowers with ones off V92 and all the marine conversions. Had Spicer 6x4 with 2 speed rear axles. Could put it in low/low/low and get out and take a wiz, and catch up with it to climb back in, or high/high/high and blow flames outa the stacks accelerating at 90 plus :-) Never hooked to anything I couldn't move including a block square building 5 stories high up on the Slope.
