Now that I am almost done with my training course (I test Monday with a state examiner), I'm about ready to get more involved with checking out companies.
I know of a few basic ones, like how many miles, how fast do the trucks run, what kind of equipment...but I'm sure there are a lot more that should be asked. So, what are some questions I should ask when calling or emailing recruiters / what questions do you wish you asked before you signed on with your current company?

1.), u might want 2 start readin the post, "What about this Co."? U will get alot of info.
2.) U will be limited 2 Co.s 2 choose from, until u put your time in safely. 3.) U will get taken advantage of, so suck it up. 4.) Try 2 fix in on a CO. who has flat bed, dry and reefer vans. 5.) Ask and listen to other drivers.

You need to ask about everything and anything that is important to you.

Here is a list of questions to ask that I found on NewbieDriver.com.
http://www.newbiedriver.com/articles...ons_To_Ask.htm There is a wealth of knowledge on this site and this is a very good list that covers just about everything. Personally, I have a Word Document that I created with about 20-25 questions on it and space after each question for me to write in their answer. Works for me and it allows me to compare companys rather easily. Good luck!
