Not quite, I understand you to say you can burn 14 hours per day for 5 days to reach 70. Who does this though? The part I don't understand is your reference to the 60/7 rule. This rule is for companies who don't run all seven days. Make me understand your point. I am new at this, I am only in school and don't know all the answers yet, if ever.

Sorry im confusing ya. My point was that the federal "law makers" say its legal to run work 70 hrs in 5 days but on the other hand they say you can only work 60 hrs in 7 days. My point is that they are kinda contradicting themselves ya know? When I was running regional flatbed I would pretty much burn up my 70 by friday and go home for the weekend and reset, my company didnt run 7 days a week and in the dot's eyes it was all legal, the 60/7 rule didnt even come into effect. That is all I was trying to get across is that these frickin' regs are only in place to confuse people IMHO
