It depends alot on what type of trash truck. Rearloaders do not require much if any experience in my area. Side load, front load, and roll-off trucks require more experience. With many companies you start off driving a rear load and move up to the others with seniority. Be aware you might have to start out as a helper doing the loading.

It depends
If you want to drive a tractor trailer pulling garbage you will have to be able to speak some type of foreign language and have no clue what it means to do a pre-trip. You also must disregard all signs you see on the side of the road. If you can do this you are well qualified for the position. :lol:
