Seems just like yesterday when I signed up for truck driving school and signed up here on CAD to start my research on companies. It was just a mere 5 months ago and now the time has come to hit the road. I took my pre-trip, skills and road test for the State of Ohio Saturday (passed no problem)and got my hard copy CDL yesterday. Pretty cool feeling. Now I am just waiting for the call to come in about going to orientation with Maverick next week. Hopefully starting on Sunday Oct. 1st. Is there anyone else on here headed to Maverick soon?

Thanks everyone who have given so much info that I have tried absorb into my little brain. I haven't posted very much on here, but I sure have read a whole lot of what you all have had to say!!

I will try to stay in touch as best as I can.

steve I am glad you are taking the plunge....you chose a very good company to start out with just pay attention and learn in the barn and you will do fine....hope to see you on the road as a fellow Maroon Maurader......wonderman
