All I did was study, get the book from the DMV and read it thru once - no notes or stopping. Then read it and take notes. Then read and look for likely questions. Then read it some more........
Good luck

8) Its not that bad, its really allot of common sense. I looked thru the 18 pages or so then I read each page and hi-lighted the important parts of the page. Then I went down to take the test and looked over my high lighted notes just before the test and had no problem.
Its different for everyone because we all learn different. I would advise to study the same way you did for your written cdl test. You will do fine, and if you miss to many just go back the next day and take it again, no big deal??. Good Luck DC

I took it this morning and it was pitifully easy. All questions were extremely basic and common sense. I'm almost sorry I spent much time studying it. I'd suggest reading through it once and then just go take it. Good luck.

I failed it the first time I took it because I hadn't studied over anything. I think I missed passing by just one question. Probably got some of the exact numbers off as far as categories and etc.
I don't really ever plan on hauling hazmat, but figure I should have the endorsement just in case.

You go through all the TSA bull and pay so much money just in case??? I think youre crazy  The only thing the background check crap is actually for is to be sure to have 10 PERFECT fingerprints of you. Only in this day and age do you pay to GIVE the govt. info

And if you should fail the test, don't throw the book down for 2 weeks out of frustration, then 2 weeks later decide you'll start studying and try again, because if you're like me you'll forget everything you know. If you fail, keep on studyin'. |
