I just want to pass on some cautionary advice...During your road training and testing, take your time and let every vehicle get out of the way before attempting turns. I misjudged a turn on my CDL test and grazed a rolloff truck. Even though I was showing due caution and regard, the powers that be at the academy decided that I was unsafe and pulled the plug on my training. Weeks of time and effort down the drain!!! Don't let it happen to you!!! Good luck!!!

I appreciate your words of caution .........................
We have been driving very SLOW and being very careful about everything. We were put in groups and our group is alittle older and wiser. Were doing very well and were told that by our instructors. Well just keep on being careful. Thank You,Pete San Antonio,Tx

Ok guys and gals......Wrapped up day 12 today and all is well.................
Were officially down to 24 in the class as 2 got washed back today just as I predicted a few days ago,Its really unfortunate because the guys studied,Hopefully one week will give them the tools and confidence to continue....................................... The day went fast and smoothly today,At a pleasant 82 degrees outside. I forgot to mention to everyone we had been battleing temps in the high 90"s and a shade over 100.So the range was pleasant. We drove up and down ............up and down,And did I say up and down the range......................(LOL). We upshifted and downshifted allllllll day long......................... No problems at all.Even Downshifting was OK.......... Day 13 will be pretty much the same as we get used to shifting ............ Ill keep everyone posted,Please wish us luck .Thanx Pete San Antonio,Tx
