Good luck Novacane. I have enjoyed reading this thread. Please keep in mind that only by change can we experience all life has to offer.

Ok i will be devils advocate and give my thoughts whether you agree with them or not.
First off if you had switched to van when i told you too you would be still driving making money. if you had persued training like they hinted to you about you would be making alot more money doing what you like to do talking, and most likely also in a new truck.
I wish you would of put as much time/effort into learning the system and delevering freight on time delevering freight on time as you did with this thread.
I only c one real complaint from you and thats about your truck not starting, the rest is on you. I dont agree with how they let you go but come on you quit only hours after pissing them off, you schould have let it cool down or quit closer to ellenwood.

Youv given a one sided view of roehl. roehl the best carreir iv ever worked for plenty of miles, plenty of sleep everythings well planned out,a feat in and of itself.
although you have lasted longer then i thought you would. Your in for a serious reality check in your next driving job. i hope you dont become a seat hopper
im not trying to put you down, you seem like a decent good hearted person, im just telling you like it is

Sorry to hear that Roehl would not let you move to another division. It really surprises me since they have been looking for drivers in curtainside division. It might be because you can't go nationwide. They have asked me to make the move since I have curtainside knowledge but I will stay under van (less work). I wish you the best as you make a company change. At least you have some experience to make the move with. However, I do agree a bit with what Ken_o says. I have not kept up with most of your thread because you were making it sound like Roehl was at fault on you load situations when in fact that is the nature of the beast especially the flat bed side of it and I was getting tired of the fuel issue (ever heard of the Q com macro requesting fuel update/permission to get fuel when needed?).

I would not work for a company that told me when I could and could not fuel. Call Millis Novacane. They have a Georgia regional that runs the southeast and home weekends. Get fuel when you want as long as it's a TA or Pilot and don't even have to put it on your log if you fuel at a terminal.

roehl doesnt tell u when to fuel up just where and if you wont make it to the recommended fuel stop u send another macro requesting another closer. who cares what fuel stops a company sends you to as long as you dont have to pay for it.if you r fueling up and their is a comdata/like terminal from which u swiped your card their will always be a record of your fueling so you might wanna just go ahead and log it anyway and cover your ass cuz if push comes to shove they wont cover yours.
