I am a 67 year-old retired man who was an independent owner owner-operator for 5 years, so there isn't a lot I don't know about the business.

I'm looking for 2 or 3 honest, dependable, ON-TIME owner-operators who have their own authority, to find loads for them and keep them making money.

I'm NOT interested in talking to hot-shot jockeys or wannabes who think a pickup truck and a 18 foot car trailer is a "truck". If you're not a class act big rig trucker please don't waste your time or mine.

You MUST have proper MC authority, liability and cargo insurance and a nice truck, or I'm not interested in working with you. I don't believe in lumping, waiting for an excessive amount of time to load or unload and I don't participate in all the crap that brokers and grocery warehouses try pulling on honest, reliable truckers.

I'm in Northern Illinois and I'm looking to work with truckers who are no more than 120 miles radius from Sterling, Illinois.
