No one uses this freight board?
The freight board on here is virtually non-exhistent. No drivers, virtually no freight posted to it, and Its really outta date yet they want 30-40 dollars to use it? I dont think so. Did this used to be a good freight board or just an upstart gone bad?
Frankly I have been using Get loaded but, they jacked up the price. I just got my invoice for 3 months and its going to be 135.00. I think i'll just ditch them and go to IT. Its a shame too cause I really like get loaded's setup. I use several different kinds of trucks so I never know which to use.

I dont look for freight, I post it and look for trucks. I am going to switch to internet truckstop sometime this month. From what I have read on here that would be my best bet. Most of my freight goes by flats anyways. I have found that once I post a van load on get loaded though my phone rings off the hook and is gone in about 2 minutes, Delete it, then I have to spend the next hour telling people "no, the loads gone". I got a couple more van loads today, I had them gone in 1 phone call to a truck on getloaded (they ended up having two trucks instead of one. I guess thats the way it goes. One site is good for one thing and another is good for another.

I have never used this load board so I can't give you any input as to how well it may work for you. I use mytruckersedge and internettruckstop. I used getloaded until a few days ago. I decided to not pay the 30% rate increase. Had they kept the rate to where it was I would probably have stayed with them. I can't see paying that much more for primarily the same loads. Most everyone else charges $35/month or less. I won't pay $45 for a loadboard. I don't think any of them do that good of a job.

Thank you Gman, for your response. I guess the lack of use seems to be the trouble with getting an answer about it. I will also be letting get loaded go after my subscription is done. I am sure the other load boards will be sufficient for what I need for now.

I use getloaded. I have tried Internet and currently have a free subscripion to Truckersedge.net! Trust me they all have about the same loads! I just like getloaded's graphics a little better! And it seems a little more user friendly!

There are some features that I like about the getloaded board, but they are not worth paying more for than their competitors, at least to me. The $10/month I save can pay over 3 months of another board. You need to save where you can. I am doing about as well just calling people on my contact list anyway. There isn't much freight being posted. In fact, there isn't much freight moving period.

I use IT and GL. Previously used Transcore but the cost for two users is too high. In my opinion Internettruckstop is the biggest but it does have some flaws which include:
Font is somewhat hard to read sometimes and it is not as eye pleasing as GL.
Lines close together and I sometimes get them mixed up.
Loads stay on there for long after they are deleted, maybe to build false numbers in advertised load amounts.
The more difficult of the three fore mentioned in looking for posted trucks.
IT pluses would be:
Faster and easier input for search criteria for loads.
Broker grading given in an easy to understand format.
Load pricing if given appears on main load page.
And the biggest... you can log on from several locations at once with one user account.
Getloaded
Pluses:
Gives an easy to read format on load ratios on dashboard screen and each state search screen as to loads and trucks posted.
Seperates lines for easier reading.
Minuses:
Takes longer to input data for searches.
Have to click on a load to see if a rate is posted.
And... they recently changed their policy and you can no longer log in one computer at a time no matter if they are in the same office operating from the same IP. We had to get two subscriptions, one for brokering and one for looking for loads for our truck.
Transcore
Totally different format and quite expensive. Always told that the better loads and carriers are on there. Never saw that. It will give you a false sense of supply in that the searches go out 500 miles from your inputed origin. It use color shading, the farther out from your origin, the darker gray it becomes. It does have a few features which I liked. There is an alarm feature that will notify you if a load appears meeting a search criteria you inputed. The lanemakers research feature beats all the others hands down on interviewing carriers for freight rates. Was it worth the $340 we spent a month on Transcore? The same loads on there were on IT and GL. The boss didn't care for it but if you are doing extensive bidding the lanemakers feature is well worth it, just don't pay for two user licenses.

Do brokers and shippers have to pay to list their loads on these boards?

Optimistic and hopeful dreams,

The future I do not know,
