They cost about $7.50 each new, perhaps less by the case. They are high in calorie and fat contend and low on substance. Meaning that you can eat one and still "feel" hungry even though you have had a balanced meal.
You might check Ebay, since I heard a rumor about people who hoarded them (and other gifts from the government and red cross) after hurricane Katrina may be selling them now. Also a lot of the online survival stores sell them.
