Indiana Jone Raiders of the Lost Ark.....
     Holds up well for being almost 30 years old. Kids liked it. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom...     That little kids was so cute. My boys really enjoyed that although the kept calling Indiana, Hans Solo.  We did see the bar in the being, had a Star Wars name. Nice touch by Lucas. they were pretty well made. But once again I am reminded of Romacing the Stone movies, something about going on adventures in strange countries.

I just saw "The Queen". It was great. Now I know why Helen Mirren won the Academy Award. She even looked like Queen Elizabeth. I'll probably watch it again, to see the parts that I missed.

My dad was up visiting this week, so I took him to see the new Indiana Jones movie yesterday since he loves those movies. We really enjoyed it. It was a lot lighter than the others, but classic Indy and the story was a fun one with a lot of good one-liners and funny stuff. The movie also did a great job doing the storyline where Shia Lebeauf (sp?) would be the new Indy in the next film(s).

Animated - The Lion King Comedy - Born in the USA Adventure - Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Arc Drama - On the Waterfront Romantic Comedy - The Wedding Singer or When Harry Met Sally Romance - African Queen (some of you might not view it as a romance movie) Sci Fi - Andromeda Strain or Running Man. But according to my wife, my all time favorite movie - A Christmas Story |
